Meet Tina
I’m Tina, an artist and educator who has been obsessed with creating since I was a little girl. My journey began in a kindergarten classroom with a box of crayons and that wonderful waxy scent that sparked a lifelong passion. Ever since, art has been my way of making the world feel like a more vibrant and exciting place.
Now, I share that same magic with children by giving them a space to dive into new materials and express themselves without limits. I love guiding tamariki as they experiment with their own ideas, finding their unique creative voices along the way. Whether we are painting, sketching, or enjoying sensory play, my classes are always driven by curiosity and a genuine sense of wonder.
Originally from Slovakia, where I studied visual arts and pedagogy, I’ve since made New Zealand my home. After raising my two children here, I earned my Level 4 Early Childhood Education qualification. This allows me to perfectly blend my professional art background with my love for teaching and supporting young, growing minds.
